EX MACHINA 7 PRODUCTIONS, a small production company located in Toronto, CANADA, is looking for 3-4 freelance storyboard artists to work on a short project in July. We are primarily looking for storyboard artists, but comic book artists with a strong sense of staging and storytelling are welcome to apply.
We are looking for innovative board artists who are capable of working quickly and efficiently from a provided script. Designs will be provided, but the artist will be required to produce additional designs and help establish the visual style of each project with the art director.
The storyboards are to be cleaned digitally (Sketchbook PRO is preferred, but Photoshop is also acceptable) and rendered in simple greyscale.
The position requires a strong skills in:
– perspective
– anatomy
– visual storytelling
– design
The successful applicant will be able to work quickly, handle revisions efficiently and be completely reliable and able to hit deadlines.
**Please note that we are not looking for:
– generic advertising presentation boards
– stylized anime artwork
