DISNEY JUNIOR ON BOARD WITH A MULTI-TERRITORY DEAL FOR THE SECOND SEASON AND HOLIDAY SPECIAL OF “THE CAT IN THE HAT KNOWS A LOT ABOUT THAT!”
Toronto, CANADA – November 21, 2011 – Following Mipcom, Portfolio International is pleased to announce the sale of the second season and the holiday special of the hit preschool series “The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!” to Disney Junior Australia and Disney Junior Italy.
Joining the ranks of Treehouse (Canada), PBS (US) and CBC (Canada), both Disney Junior Australia and Disney Junior Italy have picked up all 20 episodes of the second season and together with Treehouse and PBS will also air the one hour holiday special.

News prior to Mipcom that a second season and holiday special had been greenlit for production sparked a great deal of sales activity at the market for Portfolio. A raft of deals are currently in the works in a number of territories worldwide.
Voiced by award winning actor Martin Short, The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! has consistently been a top ranking show on Treehouse (Canada) and PBS KIDS (USA). The series currently airs internationally in over 80 countries and also offers interstitials and an accompanying online gaming component.
