Position:  Commercial Animation Director
Location: 110 Spadina Ave Suite 500, Toronto
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.

Guru Studio seeks a Commercial Animation Director.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience working with brands and agencies.
• Reel demonstrating broadcast commercial projects with an emphasis on original styles and character animation.
• Expertise in 3D and other digital animation techniques.
• Experience with various animation software (Maya, MAX, Mental Ray)
• A creative individual with a clear vision and the passion to inspire
• Proven expertise in all areas of animation: character design, modeling, rigging, animation, lighting and compositing.
• Fun. Trustworthy. Chill.

Responsibilities:

• Pitch concepts and liaise with clients and producers
• Sheppard projects from inception to completion
• Lead, motivate and inspire artists in a hands-on manner
• Deliver and maintain highest creative vision while servicing client’s requests
