Thanks to Hobo Divine for pointing this out! I haven’t made it through the whole thing yet (darn job keeps getting in the way), but this is definitely worth a watch. Rock and Rule is a pivotal film in Canadian animation history, marking both a high and low point for what could be considered Canada’s animation Golden Age. This film is the culmination of Nelvana’s early days, and it wrecked them, spawning a new direction for the company and, in turn, the animation scene in Canada as a whole.
Enjoy.
