Job Title:  Lead Animator

WK3 Productions Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Animator for the third season of Wild Kratts animated series.

The responsibilities include:

• Providing full character animation including posing, animation and lip sync in Toon Boom Harmony
• Troubleshooting and producing complex animation cycles and stock reuse
• Working closely with the Animation Director on integral scenes
• Working with the Head Researcher to ensure the science is accurately reflected in the animation
• Providing creative ideas and working under tight deadlines
• Completing all assigned shots within required timelines

Requirements:

• MUST have character animation experience
• Must be proficient in Toon Boom
• Experience with animal animation is an asset
• Strong sense of timing and acting, with an emphasis on clear storytelling
• MUST be willing to work in-house (Kanata, Ontario)
• Strong work ethic, communication skills and a team player
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
