Our award winning, and internationally renowned Toronto animated entertainment company, is looking for a Revision Artist who is responsible for a performing revisions and retakes on existing animation. This role reports directly to the animation director.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and produce quality animated pieces on schedule within ToonBoom Harmony
- Manage established quota and execute shots in keeping with director’s vision
- Track and perform retakes on already-existing animated material across multiple episodes
- Identify and resolve common issues within scenes to adhere to a common production standard
- Track and use reusable material across multiple episodes
- Resolve consistency, continuity and cutting issues throughout a sequence
Qualifications:
- Ability to animate in 2D ToonBoom/Flash
- A strong understanding of multiethnic Harmony workflows and the ability to adapt to other artist’s working styles and approaches
- Good sense of timing and spacing
- Solid drawing skills, understanding of perspective
- Ability to animate characters moving naturally, good understanding of weight and physics
- Strong acting skills and imagination, ability to animate characters in a wide variety of emotions
- Ability to work in studio environment
