Programmer/Technical Director
Fresh TV and Elliott Animation, a Toronto based artist-driven entertainment company is looking for a Technical Director to join the team “Lucas The Spider”, a world-class animated television series.
Immediate start
The Job involves:
- Supporting artists in the creation of a television series produced in Maya and Fusion
- Writing and implementing a variety of tools to help streamline the production workflow
- Interfacing with the creative and production teams to identify areas of efficiency and workflow that can be improved
- Training artists in the use of production tools
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Python
- Experience in UI development
- Strong understanding of 3D production software
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to deliver work on schedule
Assets
- Experience with Maya or Blender
- Experience with PySide and/or PyQT
- Experience with database development
- Professional experience in an animation production pipeline
- Familiarity with modeling, animation, rendering and/or compositing
