We are looking for a senior Technical Director and Desktop Support to join our growing team. The position starts immediately on our exciting new 3D animated pre-school show.

- Job Description:
- Provide support and development of tools and procedures to extend and enhance the pipeline
- Responsible for building and integrating tools for Shotgun
- Support and work with multiple departments, including Modeling and Lighting
- Work closely with other TD’s and Production Supervisors to maintain and further the production pipeline.
- Ideal Candidate:
- Has great understanding of 3D animation and pipeline.
- Experience applying Shotgun knowledge on VFX, Animation or Games Production.
- Experience developing pipelines using Shotgun.
- Exposure and familiarity with the Shotgun Python API.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and client facing skills.
- Self-motivated and has the ability to self manage.
- Desktop Support
- Job Description:
- Provide hardware and software support to artists and other staff.
- Install, configure, move and maintain systems.
- Scripting of tasks to help workflow
- General troubleshooting and technical problem solving.
- Ideal Candidate:
- Experience on the 3 major OS (win/Mac/Linux)
- Some programming experience – Python preferred.
- Ability to learn and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of the Animation Industry and Tools (Maya and Shotgun).
- Self-motivated and has the ability to self manage.
All crew must have at least 2-5 years experience working in the animation or film industry. Working in pre-school or children’s TV is a plus. Ontario and/or Canadian Citizenship is required.
