Position Title: Animator
Department: Broadcast Production
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To provide animation, editing and design support for a large advertising agency’s in house post production studio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide animation / 3D work for internal and external clients working on commercials and broadcast productions
Provide creative input on all projects, utilizing numerous resources when called upon.
Anticipate needs of clients and develop strong relationships, providing guidance and direction
Keep abreast on software needs and upgrades.
Variety of editorial opportunities: new business pitches, brand essence videos, broadcast television commercials, interactive content, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma in Creative Advertising an asset
Knowledge of Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, C4D,hotoshop, Illustrator, After Effects
Experience with Flash a definite asset
Fully proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated interest, understanding and passion for Broadcast production
Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong willingness to learn and contribute to team success
Confident in your abilities and ideas and not afraid to provide input to the team
Must be able to work flexible hours
