We’re currently looking for a Builds/Rigging Supervisor to join our team! As the lead character builder, the applicant would be responsible of overseeing a small team of artists building all character and prop assets in Harmony for the 6th season of Wild Kratts.
Start Date: February/March 2018
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a team of Builder/Riggers
- Create lists of all assets needed for each episode
- Create complex characters and prop builds in Harmony
- Create new angles of existing assets and new assets
- Ensure character builds and props are on style and on model
- Work collaboratively with other departments and spot, report, communicate creative and technical knowledge and solutions with others
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Harmony
- Strong draftsmanship and understanding of human and animal anatomy
- Great organizational skills and ability to take direction and follow production protocols
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Strong professional and positive communication skills and the ability to take creative criticism
Applicant must be willing to relocate to Ottawa, Ontario
Must be a Canadian citizen and preferably an Ontario resident
