Guru studio, the award winning and internationally renowned animation facility in Toronto is looking for a Leica Editor to join our team for an upcoming 3D video game inspired series show for teens.
Requirements/Skills:
Carry out assigned aspects of animation series editing activities.
Compile and maintain continuity and integrity issues list; multiple timelines
Assist in organizing and storing digital and photographic elements.
Sets up dailies.
Carry our assigned editing tasks, with guidance.
Able to edit multiple types of animated sequences.
Accountable for meeting productivity and quota targets.
Qualities and Qualifications:
Understanding of 3D concepts and workflows
Understands Final Cut Pro
Good organization, ability to juggle multiple tasks
Strong communication and timeline skills
Takes direction well
Ability to work independently
Music editing experience would be an asset
Fun, trustworthy and chill
