A little bit about BigJump:
BIG JUMP Productions is a privately owned, independent, 2D hybrid animation production facility that specializes in the seamless combination of traditional and digital techniques. Our team of industry professionals is comprised of highly accredited specialists in all elements of production, prepared to develop projects from concept to post.

2D Character Animators(Harmony)
Previous experience with Toomboom is an asset but not a necessity. This is a Hybrid Tradigital series using character builds coupled with strong hand drawn elements. You will work with a collaborative team of artists to create episodes for a Prime Time animated series. You will be expected to interact directly with the supervising animators and produce all the animation in the scenes given. Working from prepared model sheets, storyboards, layouts and animatics, animators are expected to create key poses, have them reviewed and approved – then move forward to producing the final animation. All shots created will have to meet the specifications outlined in the storyboard and by the Animation Director.

2D FX Animators(Harmony)

Compositors(Harmony)
Must have experience compositing in Toonboom Harmony and have a sound understanding of the Harmony Modules. Will be responsible for camera moves (multiplane and basic), FX passes and final export for client delivery.

Scene Assemblers(Harmony)
Previous experience with Toomboom is an asset but not a necessity. Will be responsible for importing all necessary assets (character builds, props, FXs and BGs) and setting up each scene according to the staging and composition provided in the storyboard.

Character Builds(Harmony)
Must have exceptional drawing skills. Will be required to pose out characters and produce high quality animation cycles to be used by the animation team.

Production Coordinator
Big Jump is looking for a motivated, super organized person to fill the role of Production Coordinator. Duties will include management of all digital assets, tracking schedules and work output of artists, downloading/uploading of assets and FTP file transfers, maintaining and organizing assets on the server and other production related duties as required. The right candidate will have experience in a production support role, preferably in the animation industry, must be proficient in MS Word and Excel, must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.

Production Assistant
Big Jump is looking for a Production Assistant. Duties will include helping the production coordinator with tracking in all departments, updating tracking sheets, FTP file transfers, general administrative duties and additional production related tasks as required. Experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary. Candidates need to be organized, outgoing, have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and strong attention to detail.
