PIPELINE TD
Guru Studio’s dedicated team is passionate about bringing inspired character driven stories to screens around the world.
Our award winning and internationally renowned Toronto animated entertainment company is looking for a PIPELINE TD who is responsible for supporting the needs of production, pipeline and toolsets. This role reports directly to the CG Supervisor and Producer.
Responsibilities:
Maximize efficiency and productivity
Collaborate with production supervisors to establish methodologies and workflow that meet the requirements of each production
Oversees the development, maintenance and optimization of lighting and rendering toolsets used by the Surfacing, FX, and Lighting/Compositing departments
Collaborate with supervisors and producers to promote, develop and implement training and mentoring to enhance skill-sets within the Surfacing and Lighting/Compositing departments
Qualifications:
At least 3+ years of CG experience
Experience with and proven working knowledge of Maya, Nuke and VRay
Various scripting languages, including Python and Mel
Subversion, CVS, or other revision control system
Experience designing user interfaces
Strong communication skills
C/C++ or other object-oriented programming language an asset
